Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how DomainIntake.com and private domain inquiry landing pages that link to this policy collect, use, disclose, and protect information.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to DomainIntake.com and to domain-name landing pages, inquiry pages, and related forms operated through DomainIntake.com that link to or reference this policy, including pages for privately held domain names and digital assets.
For convenience, this policy refers to DomainIntake.com, the landing pages, forms, and related routing services as the “Services.” It does not apply to third-party websites, payment providers, escrow providers, registrars, or other services that have their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect

- Domain name or digital asset you are inquiring about.
- Offer amount, message, transaction timeline, and related acquisition details.
- Information included in later email communications or transaction discussions.
Information collected automatically
When you access the Services, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as:
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, and request metadata.

Information from transaction providers
If a transaction proceeds through an escrow provider, registrar, marketplace, broker, payment provider, or similar third party, that provider may collect additional information directly from you under its own privacy policy and terms. We may receive transaction status information, account identifiers, transfer status, payment status, or other information necessary to complete a domain transaction.
3. Why we use information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To receive, review, route, and respond to domain inquiries and offers.
- To verify that form submissions are made by humans and to prevent spam, abuse, scraping, fraud, and automated attacks.
- To operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
- To measure traffic, performance, referrals, and visitor interaction with domain landing pages.
- To communicate about a possible transaction, escrow process, domain transfer, payment process, or related due diligence.
- To enforce our Terms of Service, protect legal rights, comply with legal obligations, and respond to lawful requests.
4. Service providers and third-party services
We use third-party service providers to host, secure, analyze, and process the Services. These providers may process information according to their own terms, privacy notices, and data-processing commitments.

5. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
The Services may use cookies, scripts, beacons, local storage, or similar technologies for security, analytics, and form functionality.
- Security and bot prevention: Cloudflare and Turnstile may process technical signals to determine whether a visitor or form submission appears human and legitimate.
- Analytics: Clicky may collect analytics data such as page views, referrers, visit duration, browser/device information, and other visitor metrics. Depending on the account configuration, Clicky may use cookies or unique identifiers to measure visits and repeat visitors.
- Forms: Web3Forms and our Worker/API routing may process submission metadata to deliver and protect form submissions.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some blocking tools may affect analytics, Turnstile verification, or form submission functionality.
6. Legal bases for processing
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction requiring a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests: operating, securing, measuring, and improving domain inquiry pages; preventing fraud and abuse; and responding to inquiries.
- Pre-contractual steps or contract: reviewing inquiries, negotiating a possible domain transaction, and completing any agreed sale or transfer.
- Consent: where required for optional communications or certain cookies/technologies.
- Legal obligations: complying with applicable laws, lawful requests, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and transaction records.
7. How we share information
We may share information:
- With service providers listed above or similar vendors who support hosting, security, analytics, form delivery, email, escrow, payment, registrar, or transfer functions.
- With the domain owner, authorized representative, broker, attorney, accountant, escrow provider, registrar, or marketplace involved in reviewing or completing a transaction.
- With law enforcement, regulators, courts, or others when we believe disclosure is required or appropriate to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, security, and property.
- In connection with a business transfer, portfolio sale, restructuring, merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- With your direction or consent.
We do not intentionally sell your inquiry form contents to data brokers. We do not use inquiry form submissions for third-party advertising profiles.
8. Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, managing possible transactions, maintaining records, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.
Typical retention periods may include:
- Inquiry and email records: up to 36 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is needed for legal, tax, accounting, security, or transaction reasons.
- Security, routing, and anti-abuse logs: generally shorter operational periods, subject to provider settings and security needs.
- Analytics data: according to analytics provider settings and account configuration.
- Completed transaction records: as long as required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or compliance purposes.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These may include HTTPS, Cloudflare security controls, Turnstile human verification, limited access to form submissions, email security controls, and use of escrow or payment providers for transaction processing.
No method of transmission, hosting, email, storage, or online processing is fully secure. You should not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, government identifiers, bank details, or payment card information through the inquiry form.
10. International transfers
The Services and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or provider commitments for international transfers.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information. We do not knowingly sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in U.S. state privacy laws.
To submit a request, contact offers@domainintake.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding.
12. Children
The Services are intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Services are not intended for anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information through the Services, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
13. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or reference third-party services such as Escrow.com, registrars, marketplaces, analytics providers, form providers, and other websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. You should review those policies before using third-party services.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date, post a notice, or provide another notice as required by law. Continued use of the Services after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
